I took a photocopy of some lettering I had done, painted it with some paints and pearl ex, let it dry, then covered it with a thin layer of clear glass paint. After the glass paint dried it became clear and the word is visible with a protective coating. I'm thinking it would be a great way to preserve an area of text in a collage or it can be cut into a shape and used as a word tag.
This piece of a double layer of scorched fabric was soaked in a quin. violet wash of acrylic paint. I'm thinking this will make great wing material! See http://intotheblystic.blogspot.com/ for finished pieces using the Scorched Fabric Sheets in collages.
